The Labyrinth Whispers

The Brief:

For this course we focused on what graphic designers do when it comes to creating what goes into movies. After given a script our professor created with the help of chat gpt we created everything that a graphic designer might make for a movie.

When it came to the script we were given one from our professor. We had to format it to match how an actual movie script would be formatted.

The Moodboard

After being given my script I started moodboarding. Taking inspiratin from animated and anime movies along with the game Dungeons and Dragons when creating everything for my movie.

The Title Sequence

Next I came up with the title sequence making it seem as it was taking place in this fantasy like animated realm. For the font I chose to use my own handwriting.

The Characters

The characters themselves somewhat differ from the script as I took some creative liberties when I was drawing them out. Some changes are little things like the clothes they wore and removing the beard from the dwarf.

The Props

My first two props that I created are a tankard and a tavern sign as at the start of the script we have the characters in the tavern which I named the Pixie’s Pint as it did not have a name.

The Props part 2

For my other two props we have the map and I created a menu for the tavern as well trying to give more to what the atmosphere would be like.

The Poster

Finally we have the poster where the characters I created come to life in the atmosphere of them traveling to find the labyrinth that they were looking for.

The Mockup

This is a mockup of how the poster may look out and about.

The Second Mockup

Here is a movie screen mockup for the title sequence.

The Last Mockup

Here is a mockup of the map and menu on a wooden table that is supposed to be like a tavern table.
